Absolute Tippet is made with proprietary copolymer blends designed to drastically reduce water absorption while maintaining optimal suppleness for high knot strength. It offers a 29% higher wet knot strength compared to SA's previous material and up to 40% higher wet knot strength than competitors. It's a general-purpose, medium-stiff monofilament built for leader construction, sold on 50m spools with a unique open-hub spool for easy dispensing. Sizes run 20lb–80lb, clear color, suited for both freshwater and saltwater — commonly used for streamers, poppers, and big game species like tarpon, snook, and GT.
