Its official, we are in runoff. The Snake River in Jackson is fully blown out and we do not recommend fishing it. That being said there are still hungry fish elsewhere.

The South Fork of the Snake is fishing really well though we recommend anglers bundle up as the weather has been chilly. It has continued to be a subsurface game with attractor patterns, like blobs and worms. Success has also been seen with some bead heads in some sections of the river. Look for swallows eating baetis as your sign to throw a bead head on. We recommend shorter heavy rigs to get the flies right to the fish. The overcast days have also had the streamer bite firing, on darker natural colors. The bigger streamers are working better this time of year.

The green has had variable flows with runoff so fishing has been on and off. That being said, check the conditions as when the Green is good, its very good. Fish are sitting in the deepest part of runs and undercut banks.
