The Snake River flowing through Grand Teton National Park and the Jackson Hole valley is coming into shape and is clearing up nicely. We had a terrific snow pack that should provide us a very rewarding fishing season. We are entering the fishing season with Jackson Lake at 98% of capacity, current outflows are approximately 2840 cfs coming out of the Dam and are 6300 cfs at Moose with a small increase from natural melt on June 22nd. It looks like we will continue to loose our higher snow this week and begin to see the natural melt end toward the end of this month, this bodes well for an early start to the fishing season. It looks like we may have a Snake River that is clear enough to fish in the first part of July. Get your gear ready, book a trip or come by the shop to get ready for what should be a nice long fishing season.
