The notorious Salmonflies have been making their way up the South Fork of the Snake River, and the fish are looking up. Anglers are having just as much or better success nymphing Pat’s rubber legs and heavy bead-headed flies, but you can’t exaggerate the thrill of a big top water hit. The big bugs are currently in and above the canyon, and likely will move even further upstream as this week rolls on. Fishing is finally getting hot, so buckle up for a great summer!
