Another great winter season has come to an end in Jackson Hole, which means only one thing…summer is almost here! We are very excited for the upcoming Jackson Hole fly fishing season and are predicting it to be a great one. With early runoff in effect as we speak and plenty of water to feed our rivers, it should be a long one. We have high hopes to be fishing the Snake much earlier than last year, so don’t hesitate to book your trip now. The weather has been great in Jackson the past few weeks, with many days in the high 60’s and sunny. Fishing on the South Fork has exceeded our expectations for this time of year. Flows have been steady at 16,000 cfs the below the dam and the Snake in Jackson is at 4,600 cfs.
Last year we had our inaugural season of being licensed Idaho outfitters. This allows us to offer day trips on the entirety of the South Fork of the Snake River. We also introduced the Westbank overnight camp on the South Fork and this spring we have completed the build out of our four guest tent platforms and are excited to share it with all of our clients. Camp can accommodate eight anglers and gives you the opportunity to float the canyon of the South Fork over two days, giving you ample time to fish the variety of water that the river has the offer. Night in camp features a gourmet meal, comfortable accommodations, a campfire and memories to last. Come float the South Fork Canyon with us the way it was intended to be fished- in style!
