Westbank Anglers is thrilled to announce the acquisition of Heise Expeditions. This acquisition enables Westbank Anglers to become a Licensed Idaho Outfitters on the South Fork of the Snake River.
As a result, Westbank Anglers is now permitted by the Bureau of Land Managment to offer daily guided fly fishing trips on the South Fork from the Palisades Dam to the Menan access. The prolific hatches of Salmon Flies, Golden Stones, Drakes, PMD’s, Terrestrials, the presence of Native Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout and more makes the South Fork one of the West’s most iconic rivers.
South Fork Canyon Overnight
We are rejuvinating and rebuilding the South Fork Canyon overnight camp, providing the ultimate way to experience the 26 mile canyon stretch of the South Fork.
River Camp Site
This 2 day, 1 night camping trip allows you to fish the famed Canyon of the South Fork at your leisure. Camp is situated in an open meadow looking up Gormer Canyon. The camp features custom designed canvas wall tents on platforms with tin roofs, twin beds with matresses and linens. This is not your average camping trip, it takes luxury to the limit on a wilderness river camp.
