We have had quite the winter so far. Last week we had 40 inches in 3 days. So much snow we had to shovel the roof!!! Now we are dealing with sub zero temps.. The skiing has been good, but the fisherman are definitely taking a back seat to the recent weather we have been enduring. There is a lot of ice floating down the Snake, and I do not think I would recommend wetting a line until it warms up a bit. As of now it looks like we should have plenty of water for the 2017 season. Fishing will be here soon enough.
