Simms NEW Bounty Hunter 100 roller ( featured image) is one of the best pieces of fishing luggage I have seen. It is a big, rugged clam shell design still light, weighing in at only 160 oz, yet manages to have a space for anything you would need to pack on a fishing vacation. It has protected spaces for your rod tubes, and even comes with a waterproof “laundry bag” which makes packing your wet clothes on your departure an after thought. If you are like me and don’t like checking bags, you are in luck. They make the same bag in a carry on size ( pictured right) .
