Westbank Guide, Walt Moore, has been testing the water in Jenny Lake and Yellowstone Lake the last few days, and has been pleased with the results. Here’s what Walt has to say- “Jackson hole area lakes have started to fish well. The streamer bite is on for the lake trout this time if year. The best way to access is by boat. Finding flats, drop offs, and depth changes near bays seems to do the trick. Don’t forget about trolling as a means to find fish. Flys that are working for me are clousers in white and chartreuse and don gable’s fruit fly. The ice on Yellowstone lake is coming off and it should be game time up north.”
