2013 Jackson Hole Fly Fishing Season Has Begun
The 2013 Jackson Hole Fly Fishing Season is here! The snow is melting and the Snake River is currently in runoff, this season looks like it will be a good one, with a long season. Come by the shop to get geared up for another fantastic fishing season in Jackson Hole. We recommend booking your guide days as soon as possible so that we can accomodate your schedule. The Green and the South Fork are already fishing well. The South Fork is the best option in the immediate future as the flows are being reduced and the fish are aggressively chasing streamers.. The Green will probally clean up a week or so into June and the South Fork is just going to get better as the flows out of Palisades Dam begin to stabilize. Yellowstone opened this past Saturday the 25th, and the fishing was quite productive on the Firehole and Madison. Those river are in good shape with normal flows, good temperatures and produced some fun fish on dries and nymphs. Lewis Lake is also a spot well worth checking out. Fishing season is upon us, come by the shop and let us help you get ready!
