Winter is in full force in Jackson Hole and Yellowstone. We have had a good bit of snow, and granted I love snow, but I also like to fish early in the season, so hopefully we don’t get too much snow going forward. I love fishing the Green in late June, the bugs are sick, and the amount of snow we have now is perfect for this river. As shown in this picture, the Green has some big fish, did I mention I enjoy getting kids hooked on hogs!
Growing up under the shadows of the Tetons gave me a lot time to explore the creeks, rivers and lakes of the area. Let me tell you, there is alot of water in this area. If it's your first time fishing, or your the seasoned veteran these waters have it all. I am 35 years old and began guiding when I was seventeen. I can not see myself doing anything else. I love this job, if you can call it that. I have been awarded top Wyoming Guide by the Jackson Hole One Fly, two years in a row {2009-2010}. I spend most of my season in the boat but love to wade fish in the backcountry. If you find your self in Jackson let me show you why i love these waters so much...call the shop to book a day.
