Winter is sort of rolling along in the Jackson Hole area. It is cold and snowy, just not as snowy as we would like to see or are accustomed to. To date, we have only had 119″ of snow so far this year, which is 67% of average for this date. The entire Rocky Mountains are well below average, but we have more than most spots, so we are lucky. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is open with all lifts running, so we are skiing, and many folks are taking advantage of the low snow to do some fishing on the South Fork, Henry’s Fork and even the Snake when the temperatures are bearable. If you are coming out this winter, or are out here now, stop by the shop or call us to get the latest on the fishing options.
